Motorway Incident (2020):

So today I will discuss the "Motorway Incident" which happened on September 10.

Now onto the case:

If you don't know the full story yet, I will tell you about it, so on September 10 at 1 am, the mother of 2 children were on the way from Lahore to Gujranwala, which according to the reports is unsafe to travel, the car stopped due to no petrol in the car and having no petrol stations nearby, the mother called the brothers for help and they gave her a helpline number for help, and when she called that number, they said that they cannot help her. 

During this, two guys came, broke the car windows and, stole her jewelry and her credit card took her and her children to nearby fields at gunpoint and raped her in front of her children.

By the time a police party and a relative the woman had called reached the scene, the attackers seemed to be in their 30s, had fled, taking with them the cash and valuables the victim was carrying with her. 

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) :

The matters grew worse when the already-controversial Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), came up with the remarks about the incident that were termed not just inappropriate but also heartless. 

According to his logic, he said that she should have taken the more populated, GT Road to Gujranwala instead of going via Motorway; and she ought to have checked how much fuel her car had before setting off. 

Recent news about the incident:

The Punjab Police has decided to obtain DNA samples of residents living in the area nearby where the woman was raped. At least 48 samples have been taken so far.

They said it will take at least a week to 10 days for results to come in.

One of the rapists has been caught.

According to the study carried out by Human Rights Watch, there is a rape once every 2 hours, a gang rape every 1 hour, and 70-90 percent of women are suffering from some kind of domestic violence, this is what we have come to. 

(Rapists) Don't you have fear of God, what you will get is hell. You should be ashamed of yourself for not understanding how disgusting, stupid person you are.
